IRELAND claimed their fourth Triple Crown in five years, and their 12th win on the trot against Scotland, to finish their Six Nations campaign with an impressive win.
It was a madcap exhilarating game as both sides emptied the tanks chasing the win that would give the victors a chance of overhauling the French should they lose to England in Paris.
After opening weekend defeats neither side probably expected to even be in contention in Round 5 and both started with the air of teams intent on making the best of their revival in fortune. The brakes were off…
