A car was flipped onto its roof and a telephone pole was left completely wrecked after a crash in Stockport.
Emergency services rushed to Longford Road West following reports of the collision this evening (Sunday, March 15).
The M.E.N understands that the driver was assessed at the scene. Police, ambulance and firefighters were called to the incident around 9.10pm. The road was closed and telephone pole severed, according to reports.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “Around 9.10pm on Sunday 15 March, fire crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Longford Road West, Stockport.
“Two fire engines from Stockport and Whitehill stations were quickly mobilised to the incident, which involved a car colliding with a telephone pole. Firefighters helped make the area safe before handing the scene over to Greater Manchester Police.
“The driver of the car was treated at the scene by North West Ambulance Service.
“Fire crews were in attendance for about half an hour.”
