A man has been taken to hospital after a lorry smashed into the central reservation on the M58 motorway near Maghull. Merseyside Police were called to the scene on the M58 at around 8.55am on Monday, March 16 after a lorry crashed into the central reservation.
The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway near Switch Island and was partially blocked until J1 Maghull Lane (Kirkby) while emergency services responded.
No injuries have been reported following the crash, however the driver of the HGV was taken to hospital as a precaution, the force said.
