During the Brexit vote, Nigel Farage’s mantra of ‘taking back control’ and retaining our ‘sovereignty’ was used in the same way as Donald Trump’s MAGA slogan.
Neglecting the fact that when we were in the EU, we were equal partners and very much respected members.
Reform would like us to be closer to Trump’s America.
The president of the USA does not respect sovereignty or even democracy and is doing his best to involve us in an illegal conflict.
The American people should wake up and see that their president is wreaking havoc in the world, and they should, in Nigel’s words, “take back control.”
Ed Davey has for a long time urged the Prime Minister to get closer to Europe, and Sir Keir Starmer seems to be doing that.
We certainly need to distance ourselves from Trump and realise that, by their very nature, right-wing parties cause division in society.
Nigel Farage would like us to be closer to the USA, and if he had his way, we would soon become Trump’s lapdog.
