Three girls have been charged after a teenager was stabbed in a Midland park.
A 14-year-old girl was seriously hurt when she was stabbed at a park off Heron End in Whittington, Worcester, at around 7.40pm on September 21 last year.
She was rushed to hospital at the time with ‘serious’ injuries that were ‘not believed to be life-threatening’.

Three girls, who cannot be named for legal reasons due to their ages, have now been charged by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) over the incident.
A 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl were charged with being in possession of a knife/sharp pointed article in a public place.
They were also charged with wounding with intent.
A court date is yet to be set.
The CPS also charged a third girl, aged 13, with assault.
She is due to appear at Worcester Youth Court on Wednesday, April 8.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “Three girls have been charged following a teenager being stabbed in Whittington in Worcester on Sunday, September 21, last year.
“The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorised charges for a 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl for being in possession of a knife/sharp pointed article in a public place and wounding with intent.
“A court date is yet to be set.
“A 13-year-old girl has been charged with assault.
“She is set to appear at Worcester Youth Court on Wednesday, April 8.”
