THOMAS Tuchel’s England are set to accelerate their preparations for this summer’s World Cup with two friendly matches at Wembley Stadium.

The Three Lions first host South American outfit Uruguay, who have also qualified for the upcoming tournament, at 7.45pm on Friday, March 27.

Tuchel named a 35-man squad for the camp, but confirmed that 11 players, including the likes of Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka, will skip the first match.

It means the clash with Uruguay will likely see a second-string England XI playing to impress the boss and secure a place on the plane to the USA.

The match will be broadcast live by ITV1 and STV, with build-up coverage for the 7.45pm kick-off likely to start at around 7.15pm.
