Treehouse Hotel Manchester is set to celebrate the release of The Magic Faraway Tree (2026) with a magical family experience in collaboration with Round The Twist.

The highly anticipated adaptation of this children’s classic is due for release on March 27th, and Treehouse Hotel Manchester is hosting a series of showings over the coming weeks at the hotel’s cosy Flix cinema. The intimate 43-seat screening room offers a premium cinematic experience, complete with 4K projection and Dolby Atmos surround sound, creating the perfect setting to enjoy this much-anticipated family film.

Adding to the excitement, Treehouse Hotel Manchester has teamed up with Round The Twist to invite families on Saturday, 25th April at 10am for an interactive and playful meet-and-greet where guests can step into the enchanting world of the Faraway Tree, followed by the film screening at 11am.

The special showing on April 25th will feature real-life characters inspired by The Magic Faraway Tree. Guests will be welcomed into the hotel’s nature-inspired function space – a cosy, woodland-style setting complete with a striking indoor tree installation, timber-clad walls and cascading greenery overhead. Designed to evoke the feeling of stepping inside a whimsical treehouse, the space sets the scene for an imaginative pre-film experience.

Children will be invited to write down a special wish, learn an enchanting spell and hang their wishes among the branches of the magical tree, creating a shared moment of storytelling and creativity before heading into the cinema.

Blending imagination, storytelling and a touch of pre-film magic, the experience encourages families to slow down, dream big and fully immerse themselves in the world of the Faraway Tree.
