A teenage boy was stabbed in the chest in a horror attack at the Manchester Arndale car park on Wednesday (May 7).
Police and paramedics raced to the scene to reports of the stabbing in the city centre at around 6pm. They found the victim, aged 17, with a stab wound to his chest.
He was rushed to hospital with injuries that were described as serious but non life-threatening or life-changing.

Police patrols in the area surrounding the Arndale have been increased, with witnesses or anyone with information urged to contact officers immediately.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police added: “Officers from the Town Hall have been deployed to the area and will be patrolling the Arndale and the car park during the course of the day to provide reassurance.
