A man who ‘abducted’ a 14-year-old missing girl has been told to ‘go back’ to his own country by a judge.
Of course, the phrase was not used in an offensive sense – as it often is – to Czech Republic national Kamil Gina.
Rather, it was offered as advice to the 23-year-old who expressed his own intention to return there and rebuild his life, albeit once he has been released from prison.

Gina, of Alexander Road, Acocks Green pleaded guilty to a Child Abduction Act offence of detaining a child so as to keep them from a person having lawful control.
He was sentenced to two years at Birmingham Crown Court on Thursday, March 19.
Prosecutor Olivia Appleby said the teenage girl was in foster care and ‘had a history of going missing’.
She was also considered a ‘high-risk child’ vulnerable to sexual exploitation, she added.
Ms Applebly continued: “Foster carers had concern the defendant and the youth were in a sexual relationship. He was supplying her with drugs and alcohol.”

Police attended one incident in July last year where both were present and Gina was described as appearing drunk and violent.
He was issued a child abduction warning notice the following day, ordering that he was not to be in the girl’s company.
But two days later, the teenager went missing again.
Police officers attended Gina’s address and saw her climbing out of a downstairs window.
Ms Appleby added: “The defendant made active attempts to evade arrest.
“Officers gained access and found the defendant hiding, holding an object to his neck which was already bleeding.”
Antonie Muller, defending, stated Gina came to the UK for university and ended up in jail having been remanded in custody awaiting his sentence.
He said: “He has already signed deportation papers to take him back to the Czech Republic from where he came as a young lad.
“He came for university. He has done five qualifications in jail.
“He believes he will get a job as a translator in the Czech Republic.
“When he was in this country, when he first arrived at a young age, he had no convictions at all.
“He arrived legally. But he suffered the loss of his mother.
“It was his first bereavement, a very significant bereavement and he went off the rails.
“He was drinking and making bad choices.”
The barrister added Gina was ‘ready’ to go back to the Czech Republic where his grandmother lives.
Judge Andrew Lockhart KC concluded he had ‘no doubt’ he was in a sexual relationship with the girl, adding he posed a risk of danger to young people.
He stated he could expect to serve up to 40 per cent of the two-year term in custody before release.
Judge Lockhart added: “You should go back to the Czech Republic when you are released and you should make a decent life there.”
