‘We remain extremely concerned for her welfare’

Police today issued a fresh appeal for the public’s help to find a missing woman aged 73.
The force, in a fresh statement on Sunday, urged residents to check gardens, sheds, garages and other outbuildings as a major search operation continues.
Named by GMP only as Jennifer, the force said it remained ‘extremely concerned for her welfare’. She doesn’t have a mobile phone and may be ‘very disorientated’, said the appeal.

The police have launched an urgent appeal to find a missing woman from Salford, Greater Manchester, who was last seen in the early hours of Saturday morning (March 28).
Jennifer was last seen at 3.12am on Saturday morning on Manchester Road, Walkden, Salford.
Police have shared a description of her, as well as a means of getting in contact if anyone has any information.
No surname has been released.

Jennifer is described as white, approximately 5ft 8in tall and slim. When she was last seen, she was wearing light-coloured trousers, a cardigan and slip-on trainers.
In a new statement, GMP said: “We are now entering day two since Jennifer was last seen, and we remain extremely concerned for her welfare. Jennifer does not have a phone and may be very disorientated.
“We are urging members of the public to please check your gardens, sheds, garages and any outbuildings.
“Also look around any nearby green spaces, alleyways or areas she may have sought shelter.
“If you have doorbell or CCTV footage, or any dashcam recordings, please review anything from 3am yesterday onwards. Every extra check counts.”
