Former Birmingham City midfielder, coach and one-time interim boss Lee Carsley is reportedly ready to return to club management.
Carsley is currently manager of the England under-21s and has led the Young Lions to consecutive European Championship titles.
The 52-year-old has been linked with a host of club jobs during his time in the England set-up but has always opted against it having tasted management briefly with Blues and Brentford.

Carsley had an interim spell in charge of Blues back in 2017 following the sacking of Harry Redknapp and presided over a victory, a draw and a defeat from his three games in charge.
He fared better at Brentford and even won a Championship Manager of the Month award in October 2015.
Journalist Alan Nixon claims Carsley – who led England’s senior team briefly in 2024 before Thomas Tuchel arrived to succeed Gareth Southgate – is ‘in the market for a club job’.
A number of Championship jobs could become available in the summer with Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion all currently employing interim bosses until the end of the season.
Carsley’s England U21s drew 1-1 with Andorra last week and take on Moldova in their latest Euros qualifier on Tuesday night.
