COPS have issued a plea to help trace a missing man who they believe could have travelled to Scotland.

Officers are desperately trying to trace 30-year-old Jan Hussain, who disappeared a week ago.

He was reported missing from Birmingham and is believed to have travelled to south-east Glasgow on Wednesday, 25 March, 2026.

Cops believe Mr Hussain may have been in the Croftfoot Road area of the city.

He is described as around 5ft 7in, with shoulder-length brown hair, and of medium build.

Jan was wearing brown trousers and a grey t-shirt when he was last seen.

Cops continue to scour garden of Scots town home linked to teen’s disappearance

Inspector Derek Gibson said: “Enquiries to trace Jan are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen him to come forward.

“Anyone with information on where he may be is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 2424 of 30 March, 2026.”
