Castleford Tigers

Castleford Tigers have allowed a forgotten man to head on l0an to the Championship as he continues his recovery from injury.

Cain Robb has been dealing with an ankle ligament injury since the pre-season, which has seen his 2026 season take a delayed start.

The hooker is yet to feature under Ryan Carr, and he will have to wait a little bit longer to make his first appearance under the new boss.

For the next month, the 23-year-old will join Batley Bulldogs and will return to the field at the second tier side.

James Ford’s Bulldogs are currently 14th in the Championship having won two matches from their opening six.

Experienced heads such as Ben Reynolds and Derrell Olpherts have improved the side, and Robb’s five-year Super League experience will provide a boost to the West Yorkshire outfit.
