‘I hope everyone is okay’
An emergency response was at the scene
Edinburgh police and paramedics were at the scene of an ‘incident’ at The Meadows on Saturday afternoon. A large emergency response was spotted around 1pm on April 4.
A police car and three ambulance vehicles were in attendance. The responders were halted at the side of the park near Melville Drive.
Edinburgh Live understands this was in relation to concern for a person.
One passer-by confirmed an ambulance remained at the scene around 1.50pm. They said: “Not sure what’s happened but paramedics are still there.
“Police left not long ago. I hope everyone is okay.”
Scottish Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
