A West Lothian man has been rushed to hospital after a crash on Friday afternoon. The incident took place around 3.25pm on Alderstone Road, Livingston.
The crash involved one motorcycle, and the male biker was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
Police and paramedics were at the scene near Morrisons. Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.25pm on Friday, 3 April, 2026 police were called to a report of a one vehicle road crash involving a motorcycle on Alderstone Road, Livingston.
“Emergency services attended and the male motorcyclist was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2027 of Friday, 3 April, 2026.”
