British Transport Police are investigating a sexual assault and have released an image of a man they would like to speak with. The incident occurred at about 9pm on Saturday 29 March, onboard the 8.01pm Manchester Victoria to Redcar Central train.
A man sat opposite a young woman and proceeded to stare at her, before sexually assaulting her. Detectives believe the man in the images may have information that could help with their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 367 of 30 March.
Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
