During the latest live episode of ITV’s Loose Women, Jane Moore brought the show to a brief pause to deliver some “breaking news” to viewers.

The seasoned journalist was at the helm on Friday (May 9), joined by panellists Sue Cleaver, Judi Love, and Nadia Sawalha.

She broke the news that the final episode of Loose Women: The Podcast is now available, featuring Christine Lampard and Coleen Nolan who give listeners a glimpse into their private lives.

But it wasn’t long before Jane revealed that fans can expect the podcast’s return this summer saying: “We have really enjoyed doing it and we’ll be getting even looser once again.”

ITV Commissioning Editor for Daytime, Paula Thomas, added: “Loose Women: The Podcast brings the honest, unfiltered conversations we love from the screen into a more intimate space, offering those deeper dives into the topics that matter.”, reports Belfast Live.

She continued, “Covering everything from mental health and relationships to the latest celebrity headlines, it delivers the signature warmth, wit, and authenticity of the Loose Women brand – wherever you’re listening.”

Thomas also expressed gratitude towards the presenters, saying, “A big thanks to the women themselves for being so open and generous with their stories. By sharing their experiences, they help us all feel a little less alone.”

Back in February, the announcement was made that the Loose Women were venturing into the world of podcasts to extend their discussions beyond the television screen.

Kaye Adams shared the excitement at the time, stating: “It is time now to share our exciting news. Something that we have never done before in the history of the show.

“For the first time ever. we are very excited to announce the launch of Loose Women: The podcast!” The studio audience burst into cheers as confetti cascaded from the ceiling.

Kaye Adams revealed that after a quarter of a century on television, it was time to get even “looser” with their content. She mentioned that the idea for the podcast came about following their recent 24-hour talkathon.

The beloved presenter remarked: “Despite the fact that we all know each other quite well, we started to have really different conversations, deeper conversations, because we had the time!”.

Nadia Sawalha chimed in, highlighting the time constraints they face on the live show, which won’t be an issue with the podcast. She expressed her excitement, also reminiscing about the joy of their tour, saying: “I’m just so excited, also with the tour, don’t forget, we had so much fun with that.”

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 12.30pm
