A spokeswoman for the service said: “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Hagley Road West and Wolverhampton Road in Oldbury at 2.41pm and sent an ambulance, paramedic officer, a BASICS (British Association For Immediate Care) emergency doctor and critical care paramedic to the scene.
“On arrival, crews found a car and a motorbike had been involved in a collision.
“The motorcyclist, a man, was treated for serious injuries before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”
