A flash Lamborghini with its roof down was spotted by police officers after the driver involved in a wedding day failed to check one key element

A supercar driver had his vehicle seized on a main Birmingham road after making a basic error.
The teal-coloured Lamborghini was on its way to a wedding when West Midlands Police officers stopped it on the A4540 Belgrave Middleway ring road, believed to be on Tuesday (April 7).
The Sparkbrook team stopped the vehicle near the Haden Circus roundabout, when they found the expensive sports car was being driven without insurance.

The car was seized while seemingly on its way to or from a wedding in the city.
Sparkbrook officers said the ‘Lambo’ was seized, and the driver also ticketed as the car was missing a number plate.

This led to the bride being ‘stressed’, the groom having to wait and the expensive car taken way.

“Lesson for today: The driver missed the ‘I do’ when asked if he wants to take out an insurance policy #seized
“Ticket issued for the number plate that must have fallen off!”
