Princess Anne journeyed to Scotland last week to unveil a ‘truly special’ project.
The royal, 75, unveiled a commemorative loom at the Strathcarron Hospice in Forth Valley to mark the charity’s 45th anniversary. She took part in a weaving project, weaving the first thread into the project, to start the community-created artwork.
Following her visit, Mags McCarthy, chief executive of Strathcarron Hospice, said: “We are deeply honoured that Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal agreed to weave the very first thread in this special piece.
“Every thread will represent a person, a moment, a connection, and together they will create something truly special to mark 45 years of care.”
