A woman alleged to have attacked members of the public and an emergency worker was arrested in Bristol.
Police received multiple calls about a woman behaving aggressively in Broadmead at around 6pm on Tuesday, April 7.
The woman, aged in her 40s, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a member of the public.
She was later arrested on suspicion of a second assault, two counts of criminal damage and assaulting an emergency worker.
Avon and Somerset Police say she was taken to hospital for assessment following the arrest and was in police custody on Wednesday, April 8.
Police are continuing to make enquiries into the incident.
A force spokesperson said: “A woman remains in police custody following a disturbance in Broadmead on Tuesday 7 April.
“Police had several calls just before 6pm reporting a woman behaving aggressively.
“Officers attended and at 6.08pm arrested a woman in her forties on suspicion of assaulting a member of the public, and later on suspicion of a second assault, two incidents of criminal damage and assaulting an emergency worker.
“Following the arrest, the woman was taken to hospital for assessment, and is in police custody, Wednesday 8 April.
“Enquiries continue, and officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who has any other information or footage which could help the investigation.
