Scottish First Minister and SNP leader John Swinney says the North Atlantic gap above Scotland is “not being adequately policed”, blaming the “defence policy” of the United Kingdom. But Conservative leader for Scotland Russell Findlay says the Iranian regime “supports Scottish independence”, because it would make both Scotland and the UK “fundamentally weaker”.
