The safest option here is RUBELLITE who has won four times this year and will be more at home back at her best trip. The main danger is course specialist Lednikov who scored here for the fourth time last month. Moon Over The Sea should run well but may be anchored by his 5lb penalty for winning at Wolverhampton recently. Others to consider are Kalikapour who won off this mark here for his previous yard in December, and Hawa Jumeirah who may have more improvement in him.

With many of these either stepping up in trip or making their handicap debuts, plenty have scope to improve, but the best option is MAGNA who has improved for stepping up to this distance and looks ready to strike. The main danger is I Can Boogy who showed her best form when second last time. Ballarat Bertie got off the mark last time and can also figure prominently, while No Release should win a race sooner or later.

Radio Star has bags of pace but she lacks a recent run and fitting a hood is a new angle on her Tapeta debut. ALONDRA finally got more on to an even keel when dropped to 5f for her reappearance at Wolverhampton and she should go very well kept to this trip. Mwafaq might easily have come on over the winter and is also considered, along with Mc Moan.

Party Bear brings recent winning handicap form and she looks set to give it another good go. There are some unexposed likely improvers in the field though and Art Patron and ELIZA BENNET may have her measure. Marginal preference is for James Fanshawe’s filly, who improved when switched to Tapeta in October and is bred to be better than this grade.

It will be no surprise to see Sychell leave her low-key debut on heavy ground well behind her this year and she’s a potential big improver, while American Treasure can also step forward from her first outing at Kempton. Nazuki won easily over C&D when last seen in November and is high on the list but this can go to VAMP. Richard Hughes’s filly shaped well in her one 2yo start and her recent return to action at Wolverhampton confirmed she had trained on. She can capitalise on today’s step back up in trip and get off the mark at the third attempt.

Heretic and Billy McGarry (second choice) should be in the thick of the action for Michael Herrington, while Copper Mountain, Jack Daniel and Timebar also have something to recommend them. However, DISCLOSURE (nap) made a winning start for James Owen at Lingfield last week and she can defy a 5lb penalty.

Several unexposed 3yos lock horns in an open race. Philanthropist and Kirkdale bring similar profiles and are capable of better, while Prince Of India (second choice) and Platinum Crystal come here on the back of a recent Tapeta win and also command serious respect. Captain Harry is bred to do well on AW but STAPLEFORD PARK improved for the step up to 7f at Chester when last seen and may be the answer in a trappy event.
