A fresh appeal has been issued to find a Manchester man who has been missing for 10 days.

Officers believe Paul may have travelled to the Lake District, according to an appeal issued this morning (May 10).

Greater Manchester Police says the 58-year-old was seen in Whalley Range between 11am and 1pm on Wednesday, April 30.

A previous appeal from GMP said Paul was then seen at Manchester Royal Infirmary at around 3am on Thursday, May 1.

Paul, whose surname has not been given by police, is described as being of average height and build.

A photo of Paul was shared by GMP on social media, showing him with short grey hair.

Concerns have been growing for Paul over the past week, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to come forward.

A spokesperson for GMP Chorlton and Didsbury said: “We are continuing to appeal for anyone who may have seen Paul.

“He may have travelled to the Lake District area. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.”

Anyone with information about Paul’s whereabouts can contact police on 0161 856 4821, quoting log 2747 of May 1, 2025.
