On Wednesday, April 8th, Operation Community Hamper donated 150 Easter eggs to children at Bristol City Robins Foundation’s Holiday Camps.

The eggs were delivered as part of Operation Community Hamper’s (OCH) continued mission to provide moments of joy to young people and families who may not otherwise be able to afford them. Previously, OCH has supported the Robins Foundation in providing bespoke hampers over Christmas, including luxury foods and personalised gifts, for families in need, as well as ad-hoc support, such as providing a phone for a young person in supported living to help them get employment.

The Easter Eggs were delivered to the Foundation’s HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) camps, which provide a day of football activity and lunch for children eligible for free school meals.

The Foundation’s Participation Manager, Jack Harding-Dancy, shared the impact that Operation Community Hamper has on participants:

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to Operation Community Hamper for their continued support this school holidays. By providing 150 easter eggs to young people on our HAF programmes, they have provided immeasurable joy to children in our local community.

“We look forward to continuing our work with them and working together to improve lives across Bristol.”

This Easter, the Robins Foundation have hosted 362 places at HAF Camps across a variety of venues in Bristol, ensuring young people from our programmes and local schools have a safe space to play during the school holiday.
