Liverpool fan and UFC star Paddy Pimblett had Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney smirking with a dig at Arsenal as the pair discussed the Premier League title race.
The 31‑year‑old didn’t hold back when the conversation turned to Arsenal, despite Liverpool falling short in the title race this season. With just six points separating Arsenal and Manchester City, and Pep Guardiola’s side holding a game in hand before hosting Arsenal at the Etihad on Sunday, Pimblett acknowledged he has little regard for the Arsenal fanbase.
“Come on City, come on City,” he began on The Wayne Rooney Show on BBC Sounds. “I want them to win, you know what I mean? I hate Arsenal fans.
