Talented kids from a Wishaw dance school helped raise cash for a children’s charity.

Junior and senior dancers from Illuminate Dance Studio took part in a fundraiser for the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.

The ‘Purple Party’ charity night was organised by Illuminate supremo Clare Thompson and raised more than £1600 for the charity.

Clare said: “A few of our kids have been supported by Glasgow Children’s Hospital so the girls took part in a fundraiser to help raise money for the cause.

“A few of the junior and senior dancers from Illuminate Dance Studio joined together to perform at the ‘Purple Party’ charity night.

“The girls performance was a highlight of the night and created a great atmosphere. The girls and their families helped raise £1635 for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.

“This incredible charity supports babies, children, and young people treated at Scotland’s largest children’s hospital, including many of the children I work with and teach.”
