Manor Solomon has enjoyed a terrific loan spell with Leeds United after joining from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer for the 2024/25 season.
After scoring the winning goal against Plymouth Argyle to secure the title, the winger will go down in Leeds United folklore for the rest of time — and the goal will no doubt be played on repeat over and over again.
Manor Solomon’s Leeds United stats
Manor Solomon’s stats for the season are seriously impressive, having missed portions of the campaign through injury as well. The Israeli international found his rhythm at the end of the campaign to help drag Leeds over the line.
Solomon and Daniel Farke were nominated for awards in April, with the pair losing out on Player and Manager of the Month to Scott Parker and Josh Brownhill at Burnley. But Solomon’s impact will be remembered at Leeds for a long time.

Solomon could be available again this summer and reports have already emerged that Leeds are keen on a reunion with Solomon for the Premier League. It’s unclear yet whether that will materialise with Marseille also reportedly keen on Solomon’s services.
He has since taken to Twitter/X to thank Leeds ahead of a return to Tottenham this summer. He is under contract until 2028 but the future could see him return to West Yorkshire in spite of talk of a £30 million price tag for the Spurs winger.
After nearly a year without football,
I couldn’t have asked for a better comeback season and a better ending.
I really don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that Leeds United will forever be in my heart.

There has already been talk of a spanner in the works of a deal for Solomon, and many think signing Solomon should be the No.1 priority for Leeds this summer.

Leeds have a number of decisions to weigh up this summer, including whether they wish to pursue another loan for Solomon, a permanent deal, or neither.
He has been outstanding in the Championship but he is largely unproven in the Premier League, which has to be a concern for the Whites. Or at least something they are questioning behind the scenes.
Can his best attributes in the second tier translate to top flight football? That is one issue to consider thinking about. The other is his injury record, as alluded to by the man himself.
He has played more minutes this season than in any other. Leeds need readily available and dependable players. The best ability is availability and that risk factor is worth consideration, too.
There is no denying his talent but Leeds’ PSR concerns mean another loan would probably suit the club most, if not looking elsewhere entirely.
