Liverpool City Council has confirmed that one of its celebrated markets will be returning in 2026. Allerton Hall Farmers and Craft Market takes place next to Clarke Gardens, outside the Allerton Hall pub.
It is one of Liverpool’s many regular arts and farmers markets with others taking place at Lark Lane and in Woolton Village. The market is generally made up of over twenty traders and has been known to sell plants, cheese, gluten-free products, bakery, artworks, pet products and more.
The market’s return follows on from two appearances in 2025. In May 3 2025 the market celebrated its tenth appearance at the gardens.
A second Allerton Hall Market held was held later in the year, on August 30.
Cllr Harry Doyle, Cabinet Member for Culture, Health and Wellbeing, said at the time: “The continued success of our markets shows that Liverpool loves shopping locally. It’s great for local businesses, great for the environment and great for the shoppers who get to browse fantastic produce in a wonderful atmosphere.
“The fact that this is the tenth time the market will be held is a tribute to the commitment of the traders and ward councillor Kimberley Berry as well as the council’s markets team, and, of course, the customers who make the markets the special places that they are.”
While an exact date for the market’s return has not yet been confirmed, the Liverpool City Council website states that it will “return in 2026”.
It describes the market saying: “Allerton Hall has a full range of handmade craft and artisan products alongside favourites such as cheese, plants, chocolate and bakery lines. This bi-monthly market is located next to the picturesque Clarke Gardens.”
Allerton Hall Market takes place at 1 Springwood Ave, Allerton, Liverpool L25 7UN.
