Hello, good afternoon and welcome to our live coverage from the bet365 Stadium of Stoke City’s final home match of the season, against Portsmouth.

Stoke come into this fixture in need of a pick me up after a run of one point from the previous four games. They are coming to the end of Mark Robins’ first full campaign as manager, which started so promisingly but has fizzled out over the last five months. They slipped into negative goal difference for the first time this week and need to find a flourish to avoid a bottom-half finish.

Portsmouth arrive in the Potteries having secured their status in the division despite a heavy mid-week defeat at champions Coventry. Pompey had won their previous three games without conceding a goal to pull clear of Leicester City and Oxford United in the bottom three.

It will be the final home game for some Stoke players although which remains to be confirmed – and some will inevitably get better send-offs than others. Ashley Phillips, for example, has been a fans’ favourite following two long-term loans from Spurs.

We will have all the news, action and reaction as it happens. Kick-off is at 3pm and team news will be confirmed around 1.45pm. You can have your say too. Click here to join in the debate through the day.

90+2Stoke 1 Portsmouth 2

Nzonzi wafts a shot high into the Boothen End when set up by Thomas. This could be the worst way for a club hero to bring up his 150th appearance and make his final bow here.

Today16:50 BST

90Six added minutes

The end can’t come soon enough.

Today16:44 BST

84Disallowed goal

Robert Bozenik goal ruled out for handball

Today16:41 BST

82GOAL! Stoke 1 Portsmouth 3 – Adrian Segecic

A hat-trick for Segecic. Boos ring around the home stands.

Stoke lose possession in the middle of the pitch and Segecic has a free run to the edge of the area, where he picks his spot past Simkin.

Stoke fans are leaving en masse. Embarrassing.

Today16:40 BST

81Stoke 1 Portsmouth 2

A huge chance for Stoke. Bozenik steals the ball from Killip and gives it straight to Manhoef, who tries to dribble rather than shoot and has it taken away from him.

Today16:38 BST

79Stoke 1 Portsmouth 2

Rak-Sakyi now left-back, Gibson in the middle.

Today16:38 BST

79Stoke sub

Pijus Otegbayo comes off injured and is replaced by Million Manhoef.

Today16:32 BST

73Stoke 1 Portsmouth 2

Boos as Stoke pass it sideways around defence. It’s dire stuff.

Today16:31 BST

72Stoke 1 Portsmouth 2

Portsmouth are sniffing a third goal.

Today16:30 BST

71Stoke sub

A few boos and some strange applause for Ben Pearson as he is replaced by Steven Nzonzi. Another dreadful performance from an unfit Pearson.

Today16:29 BST

70Stoke 1 Portsmouth 2

Segecic has far too much space the wrong side of Gibson and he gets it inside for Williams to poke wide when he probably should have made it three.

Today16:26 BST

67GOAL! Stoke 1 Portsmouth 2 – Adrian Segecic

Segecic gets his second. Dreadful marking.

A bad decision from Pearson, who was too slow into a challenge, in the middle and Portsmouth switch it left for a cross. Otegbayo can’t beat Bishop to a header and Segecic is the wrong side of Gibson to finish it at close range.

Today16:23 BST

63Stoke sub

A big applause for Syd Agina as he is replaced by Junior Tchamadeu.

Today16:22 BST

63Stoke 1 Portsmouth 1

A big chance for Segecic at the back post from a left wing cross. Gibson perhaps does just about enough to put him off.

Today16:20 BST

60Yellow card

An absolutely dreadful flying tackle from Hayden Matthews on Seko. He’s lucky to only be booked.

Today16:17 BST

57Stoke 1 Portsmouth 1

Stoke had a little spell of pressure after the goal but they’ve scuppered their own momentum with bad decision making, whether it’s a soft free-kick to concede or being too sloppy on the ball.

Today16:16 BST

56Stoke 1 Portsmouth 1

Seko snaps in midfield and pinches a ball for Cisse, who loses posession. Gibson has to win a back post header and Pearson blocks a shot from Segecic.

Today16:07 BST

48GOAL! Stoke 1 Portsmouth 1 – Lamine Cisse

Lamine Cisse heads in a Thomas corner.

Thomas pings it into the six-yard box and Cisse is unmarked as he leaps to nod it home. The Portsmouth camp can’t believe how much space Cisse had.

Today16:06 BST

47Stoke 0 Portsmouth 1

Sorba Thomas wins a corner down on the left, which he will swing in himself.

Today16:04 BST

46Stoke double sub

Gibson and Rak-Sakyi on for Bocat and Gallagher.

Today16:00 BST

Half-time sub

Ben Gibson is coming on for the second half.

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi might be getting stripped too.

Today15:50 BST

45+4Boos at half-time

Eric Bocat was tripped running towards the box but there is little sympathy for him from anyone in the stadium. It’s that kind of mood.

Boos at the half-time whistle.

Today15:48 BST

45+4Stoke 0 Portsmouth 1

A few chants at Mark Robins to “sort ’em out” after John Swift strolls through Stoke’s central midfield.

Today15:47 BST

45+2Stoke 0 Portsmouth 1

Gallagher tees back an Otegbayo cross for Bozenik to get a shot on target although it’s too tame to worry Killip.

Today15:46 BST

45Four added minutes

Stoke have a long throw down by the right corner flag to go into injury time.

Thomas loops it inot the box but Phillips can’t beat his man to the first contact.

Today15:43 BST

42Stoke 0 Portsmouth 1

Otegbayo is a threat at corners and, when he can’t quite get a killer touch, Stoke stay on the attack.

Thomas crosses from the left and Cisse heads on goal, it’s flicked up again by Phillips but Cisse can’t finish it off.

Today15:41 BST

41Stoke 0 Portsmouth 1

It’s a pretty demoralised home support. Bozenik tries to make something happen by hooking a high ball into the box for Thomas, who lets it bounce a little too comfortably for the defence.

Nevertheless, Killip contrives to concede a corner and Phillips almost clips it in.

Today15:40 BST

40Stoke 0 Portsmouth 1

Cisse loses possession down the left and Portsmouth break easily through the Stoke team to swing in a cross for Colby Bishop, which he touches past the post.

Today15:38 BST

38Stoke 0 Portsmouth 1

Portsmouth fans: “How bad must you be, we’re winning away?”

They’re giving ref David Webb some stick as well, which is probably valid.
