The M.E.N understands emergency services are in attendance following a serious crash involving a motorbike this afternoon.
Witnesses reported seeing a damaged bike in the road within the road closure. An air ambulance also landed at the scene earlier today but has since left the incident.
Drivers are stuck within a closure and are being turned around from the back of the queue.
