A UK logistics company specialising in global transport has plunged into administration amid a surge in business failures across the country. Eagle One Delivery Limited, based at Appleton Thorn Trading Estate, Unit 3G9 Lyncastle Way, Warrington, has formally entered administration after just a few years in operation.
Founded in 2020, the firm built its operations around international transport, freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing and storage services. However, there is currently no information on how many jobs may be affected by the collapse.
The company’s administration comes as 65 businesses filed notices this month alone, according to The Gazette, highlighting the mounting pressure facing UK firms. The Gazette is the UK’s official public record for legal and government notices.

Rising costs and reduced footfall are among the pressures forcing businesses to seek insolvency support.
Among those affected is The LED Studio LTD, a British manufacturer of large-scale LED screens.
After 16 years in operation, it entered administration despite becoming a global brand by 2019.
The firm previously described itself as “known as the industry’s best-kept secret”.
Administrators Andrew Watling and Michael Ian Field of Opus Restructuring have been appointed.
Elsewhere, Merseyside-based Surface Transforms has collapsed after more than 30 years.
The company lost a major contract with General Motors, which accounted for around 84% of its revenues.
It had been seeking investment or a buyer but failed to secure a deal.
The Blue Sea Fishing Company, reportedly the UK’s largest crab kitchen, has also entered administration.
Engineering Technology, a Warwickshire machinery supplier with revenues exceeding £13m, and EV charger firm ZPN Energy Limited are among the latest businesses affected.
