London Road construction ramps up, lane closures and detours until November

DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) – Work is ramping up on Duluth’s London Road.

The project officially started Monday with some prep work but as of Wednesday, we saw crews out with heavy equipment.

That includes 26th Avenue East where they’re planning to add a roundabout.

Eventually they’ll work on another roundabout near 40th Avenue East.

There will be lane closures and detours from now until November.

Then work will pick back up again next spring.
