Firefighters have been working through the night to tackle a huge moor fire off Snake Pass in the Peak District.
Residents have reported smelling smoke from the blaze across Greater Manchester this morning, while several fire engines have been seen attending the incident.
Crews were called out to the scene shortly before 9pm last night.
People living in the surrounding area have been urged to keep their windows and doors closed.
Snake Pass was closed overnight, but has since reopened according to the Inrix traffic monitoring service.
