An easyJet service bound for Scotland was forced to make an unscheduled landing after a passenger was “attacked” mid-flight.
The plane, travelling from Tenerife, was scheduled to touch down in Glasgow on Wednesday, 29 April, but was rerouted to Porto in Portugal, where police officers were waiting on the tarmac.
Flight EZY3114 had to alter its course following disruptive behaviour from passengers on board. It’s believed one traveller was assaulted during the incident. The plane subsequently resumed its journey to Glasgow, reports the Daily Record.
