On May 10, Bindi shared a truly heartwarming snapshot of her and her daughter, Grace Warrior. She shared the photo on her Instagram with the caption reading, “When I held our beautiful daughter in my arms after she was first born, I knew I wanted to write a children’s book about her life. It means the world to get to share this story and hopefully inspire young Wildlife Warriors to love our planet. I hope you’re able to pick up a copy of my book and celebrate Mother’s Day with the little wildlife warriors in your life.”

She added, “You Are a Wildlife Warrior is available in stores now and online at the link in my bio.”

For those who don’t know, Bindi and her husband, Chandler Powell, welcomed their daughter Grace Warrior, 3, on March 25, 2021, which was exactly one year after their intimate wedding ceremony at the Australia Zoo.

In a previous interview with SheKnows, Bindi talked about how she thinks playtime with her daughter is one of the most important things to do. “Those moments of connection with play I still draw upon as an adult, and I think that’s really, really special. [P]laytime is so important because it gives kids the opportunity to have those building blocks for the foundation for the rest of their life.”
