The moment Edinburgh youths caused an alleged ‘disturbance’ at a property has been caught on camera. The footage was shared by a resident who claims the group have approached her property in Niddrie a number of times over the last few days.
The youths have allegedly knocked on the door repeatedly, damaged a car outside the home and used abusive language towards the residents.
In a clip seen by Edinburgh Live, one of the young individuals can be seen underneath a car before the group quickly run away. One member was on a bike.
The incident has not been reported to police.
On April 17 2026, we reported on a gang of masked youths were caught prowling around an Edinburgh neighbourhood after dark.
The incident took place in the early hours on Gilmerton Dykes Crescent. Startling footage shows a group of what appears to be six masked and hooded figures walking along the road in the dark.
One of the youths seems to break off from the throng and approach the resident’s doorstep, triggering an automatic porch light to switch on.
