A SCOTS actress has been confirmed as part of the star-studded line-up for the highly anticipated Celebrity Traitors.
Glasgow-born Sharon Rooney is among the 21 A-listers heading to the Highlands for the ultimate game of treachery.

The 37-year-old, who famously starred as Lawyer Barbie alongside Margot Robbie, will be joined by a heavy-hitting cast including the likes of Bella Ramsey, James Blunt, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Maya Jama and comedy duo Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.
Others include Michael Sheen, Ross Kemp, Miranda Hart, Hannah Fry, Joanna McNally, Amol Rajan, Myha’la, James Acaster and Richard E. Grant.
Jerry Hall, Joe Lycett, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Sebastian Croft and King Kenny.
Filming for the second season of the Claudia Winkleman-fronted hit is thought to be already underway at Ardross Castle.

Produced by Studio Lambert Scotland, the series will see the famous faces battle it out to win a cash prize of up to £100,000 for their chosen charities.
The game sees contestants split into “Traitors” and “Faithfuls,” with the Traitors secretly picking off their rivals while the group attempts to unmask them at the roundtable.
Rooney shot to fame with her breakout role as Rae Earl in My Mad Fat Diary and has since become a familiar face on British TV.
Fans will also recognise her as the long-suffering Sophie from the first two series of Two Doors Down, where she famously shocked her on-screen mum, played by Elaine C. Smith, with a graphic threesome revelation.
She’s popped up in projects like Dumbo and been a voiceover artist for animated series such as Robozuna.
Well known for her down-to-earth screen presence, she’s become a familiar face on British TV.
The 37-year-old keeps her personal life very private, so her spot on Celebrity Traitors could be very interesting indeed.
