The crossbreed has been living in kennels for six months and the Scottish SPCA now hope they can find her a loving home.
The brindle crossbreed has been with the SSPCA since she was six months old.
A rescue dog who had a tough start to life is looking for her new forever home.
Brindle crossbreed Lola is currently being looked after at the Scottish SPCA’s rehoming and rescue centre in Lanarkshire.
The one-year old is described as “a very affectionate girl” who “wants nothing more than to sit next to you, receive cuddles and snooze.
She came to the charity as a six-month old pup and has since spent six months living in their kennels.
Staff at the SSPCA said Lola “didn’t have the best start in life and hasn’t experienced much of the outside world before she came into our care.
“Lola has grown in confidence since being in our care and often walks alongside other dogs and goes on pack walks.

“She just isn’t keen on nose to nose and off-lead dog interactions as she can find this quite overwhelming.
“She is such a sweet girl and becomes more confident every day, she just needs the chance to blossom!”
The charity are hoping they can find Lola her forever home, and advised potential owners that she could not stay with other animals, or children under 13
Lola was described as ‘very food motivated’
New owners will need to work on her lead training, but were advised that Lola is “a young dog who’s very food motivated (give her cheese and she will do anything!) so correcting this will be very achievable.”
