“Caleb’s flirtation with Frankie is one of the few bright spots in his life, but if he knew she was an Osborne, would the feud between the families wreck any chance of future romance?”
Frankie is finally being discharged after the accident. There’s a spark with fellow patient Caleb, but she’s deliberately not told him her true identity.
The row over who was responsible for the crash has pitted the Keanes against the Osbornes, with Jack in the middle as to whether he supports grandson Charlie or daughter Beth. Should Frankie heed Vicky’s advice to come clean to Caleb?
Meanwhile, Beth wants her and Jonah to make an effort with the locals now they’re officially residents of Hollyoaks, and accept Ste’s invitation. Not wanting Caleb to miss out, they hatch a plan…
“Jonah, Beth and Maddox whisk Caleb off the ward, into a wheelchair and straight to the celebrations,” teases our spy. “For the first time in ages, Caleb’s spirits are lifted. This is just what the doctor ordered!”

Speaking recently about playing Caleb, actor Lewis Walton commented: “Filming with Izzy [Smith, who plays Frankie] is great as I’ve known her for a couple of years because I went for the role of JJ, she’s really funny.
“Then there’s Brook [Debio, who plays Ant] who I did Coronation Street with, we haven’t shot any scenes together yet unfortunately but hopefully in the future. I’ve done a scene with Anya [Lawrence, who plays Vicky] – she’s brilliant and really friendly.”
He added: “Coming in as a brand-new family has been so fun because we can all bounce off each other and give each other ideas on how our family works instead of having to fit into something that’s existing already. It’s nice that we can all collaborate and bring it together as a group and I think that adds to the family element.”
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
