A trial is set to take place later this yearPolice cordon after serious attack in South Bristol
A man has denied attempting to kill his father in an incident in Bristol six weeks ago.
Thomas Gwyther appeared before a judge at Bristol Crown Court today (May 6) and was told he faces two charges.
The first is that he attempted to murder Colston Wayne Gwyther, his father, on the last Saturday in March.
The second indictment is a charge of wounding with intent to endanger life, on the same date.
The 34-year-old, from New Meadows in Hengrove, South Bristol, pleaded ‘not guilty’ to both charges.
He was remanded in custody, and a date was set for a four-day trial to take place starting on October 26.
It comes after an incident at a residential property in Fortfield Road, Whitchurch on Saturday, March 28.
