1. Will makes plans to leave

Will secretly meets up with Megan, handing over £2,000 that he stole from the Rovers safe. The pair are planning to move to France together, but need cash to fund their flight tickets.
Later, Will’s family wave him off as he gets into Tim’s taxi – wrongly believing that he’s heading off to stay with Melanie in Scotland.
2. Suspicion grows over Will’s plan

While driving Will, Tim gets suspicious as he learns that the train to Glasgow is cancelled. Will insists that they should continue travelling to the station anyway, which leaves Tim baffled.
The train cancellation also becomes a talking point back at the pub. Ben finally realises that Will’s passport is missing, so he tries to get a message through to Tim in a bid to thwart the teenager’s plan.
3. Tim sparks a major decision

Tim tells Will about his history with Trisha – noting that while he thought he was enjoying their inappropriate relationship at the time, he now realises that she was taking advantage of him.
This leads to a breakthrough as Will finally accepts the reality of the situation and reports Megan to the police. He tells his family that it was the most difficult decision of his life, as he genuinely loved Megan.
4. Megan is questioned by police again

Megan faces a grilling from DS Connor-Swain. When she hears that Will has made allegations of a sexual relationship with her, Megan shamelessly insists that it’s all lies.
Lisa doesn’t back down easily, though – pointing out the evidence of £2,000 stolen from the pub’s safe and their plans to flee to France together. With her luck running out, will Megan be charged?
5. Tim confronts Trisha

Inspired by Will’s courage, Tim decides to face up to his own past. As Trisha has been ignoring his texts, he tracks her down at work.
During a private chat in his cab, Tim reminds Trisha that she abused him when he was 14.
Afterwards, Tim goes back to Will and explains how his meeting with Trisha has helped him to get closure after all these years.
6. The murder investigation continues

Kit and Lisa consult each other over the investigation into Theo’s murder, agreeing that Gary’s alibi seems suspicious. During a trip to the pub with Kit, Lisa notices Todd staring daggers at them and she wonders whether this is a sign of a guilty conscience.
The police also gather potential evidence from the builder’s yard, including scaffolding poles.
7. Kit issues a warning to Gary

Kit and Lisa are disappointed when they’re unable to retrieve the incriminating CCTV footage that Gary deleted from his laptop, which proved that he smashed up Theo’s van.
It’s a major setback for the investigation, but Kit warns Gary that he still considers him to be the prime suspect.
8. Summer considers her future
ITV
Summer finds out that she’s been offered a place at a US university.
When she tells Todd, he urges her to accept the offer because she needs to put herself first for once. Will Summer take this chance to start afresh? And could she be seeking a chance to flee from scrutiny over Theo’s murder? She is one of the suspects, after all…
9. Jodie forms a new plan

Following her reappearance, Jodie infuriates David by making out that he wasn’t the innocent party in their bedroom mix-up. David makes it clear that he doesn’t want Jodie living at the Platt house anymore, so she gets an idea when she hears that Daniel is supposedly away in the Lakes.
Jodie lets herself into Daniel’s flat and intends to stay there, but is wrong-footed when she comes face-to-face with him. She claims that she found the spare key on the pavement and decided to return it, but Daniel is doubtful and orders her out. Playing her trump card, Jodie threatens to tell Daniel’s family that he’s not in the Lakes unless he lets her stay!
10. Daniel is encouraged by Jodie

After Daniel gives in to Jodie’s blackmail, she heads to the Platt house to pick up the last of her things and announces that she’s staying with a friend. Jodie’s expression darkens as she leaves, suggesting that she’s not done causing trouble for Shona and David yet.
Back at the flat, Jodie reminds Daniel that he was scheduled to come back from his holiday today and it’d be best for him to return to normality rather than hiding away from his family.
11. Jodie insults Cassie

Cassie looks after Bertie and Dorin, but takes a strict approach by refusing to buy them any sweets at The Kabin.
Jodie witnesses the exchange and taunts Cassie, suggesting that she’s too old to look after young children. Not stopping there, Jodie secretly slips a bag of sweets to the boys.
12. Sam’s friendship comes under strain

Sam believes that he can see Will everywhere – and that Will is threatening him after everything that happened with Megan. But as Sam is continuing to struggle with his mental health, is everything as it seems?
Hope starts to tease Sam about his obsession with Will, but he’s furious over her teasing.
13. Sam’s sense of reality is altered
ITV
Sam still isn’t his usual self as he prepares for a maths exam. Nick and Toyah wonder whether counselling could help to tackle his anxiety.
When Sam listens in via his phone, he overhears an entirely different conversation – he’s left convinced that his family don’t believe him and that he’s entirely on his own.
14. Sam makes a strange discovery

After prompting from Nick and Toyah, a concerned Roy reaches out to Sam and suggests a game of chess.
Roy sees that Sam is agitated after finding a tracking device in his school bag. Who is tracking the teen’s movements?
15. Maggie prepares to make a life-changing revelation
ITV
Ben receives a concerned call from Melanie, who’s learned that Will no longer wants to live in Scotland with her.
Maggie panics that Melanie might retaliate by exposing the truth about Alan’s death, so she tells Ben they need to talk. Is it time to come clean?
Either way, it’s not long before Ben is spiralling following the week from hell…
