Emmerdale fans have rumbled who they think will bring Dr Todd down – and it’s not Jacob. The lead doctor has been causing quite the trouble for Jacob, bullying him in the workplace. The targeting has only got worse and now Dr Todd has moved into the village and is terrorising Jacob away from work too.
In scenes that aired today, Jacob went to see Dr Todd and find out what was going on with her complaint. He decided the best thing to do was secretly record her, but she quickly realised what he was doing and deleted the voice memo.
With the evidence now gone, will Jacob be able to prove that Dr Todd is unfairly targeting him? Fans are sure theyve worked out who might be the one to help bring the bully down for good.

One fan wrote: “I feel like Manpreet might be slowly clicking on to something but it’s taking forever.” Another added: “I stuck by my suggestion about Manpreet she knows something from her past.”
Fans are concerned what’s set to come out about Todd, as the bullying worsens as she moves into the village.
“I’m getting annoyed that we likely aren’t going to get a satisfying explanation for Todd’s behaviour. She’s bullied others at work, but why with Jacob is she going the extra mile by moving into his village and bullying him outside of work too?” one wrote.
“She’ll either: a- lose her job after Jacob actually get’s evidence of her wrong doing, and leave the village. Or b- get moved to a different hospital/given a different position somewhere else, and leave the village (to show that sometimes bullies like that do get away with it, and they get to go on and live their lives).”
Things have only gone from bad to worse over the last few weeks as Dr Todd’s scheming against Jacob got worse. Joe-Warren Plant – who plays Jacob – previously revealed to The Mirror all about the emotional weight Jacob is carrying.
“Things are boiling over for Jacob. This is the career he wanted and he is not a quitter. He wants to believe Dr Todd is doing it for a good reason. As his mentor, he can’t not look up to her, but that is the danger Jacob is facing. He knows there is something off too and we are going to revisit Jacob’s vulnerable side. He is going to carry a lot of weight on his shoulders,” he explained.
