A new PS5 console bundle has been quietly listed on Sony’s PlayStation Direct webstore, offering the base PS5 system with a disc drive along with a two-year subscription to PS Plus Premium. It’s available now in the UK for £679.99.
The same website is selling the PS5 console on its own for £479.99, so the 24 months of PS Plus Premium is being bundled in for an additional £200. PS Plus Premium is currently £119.99 for a one-year subscription in the UK, so this bundle represents a £40 saving.

PS Plus Premium offers all the benefits of PS Plus Essential and the mid-tier PS Plus Extra, and then throws classic PS1, PS2, PSP, and streaming PS3 titles on top. The service is updated with a handful of new games every month, with the next set scheduled to be confirmed this coming Wednesday, 14th May.
