A new brand is preparing to move into Liverpool ONE. Signage has been posted in a Manesty’s Lane shopfront advertising Manchester-born activewear brand Trailberg “coming soon”. The company, founded in 2021 by David Makin, Jack Spellacy and Dale Thorpe, provides tees, shorts, accessories, tracksuits and more for men and women.

The brand recently launched a store in the Trafford Centre which coincided with the debut of its womenswear and technical apparel collections. Trailberg is also planning to introduce footwear this year.

On the Trafford Centre opening, Jack Spellacy previously said: “Trailberg is in huge demand among consumers, so, following our launch last year in Manchester city centre, the time is right to expand our store presence in more of the UK’s leading retail destinations.

“Top of the list was Trafford Centre, which is the first-choice location for a significant, loyal and engaged catchment that significantly expands our reach in the North West. This is the beginning of something very exciting for Trailberg.”

An opening date for the Liverpool ONE store is yet to be announced. Across the shopping complex, a jewellery brand with more than 300 stores worldwide has confirmed its arrival, following the closure of Claire’s last month.

Claire’s closed all of its UK and Ireland stores at the end of April after falling into administration. Fast fashion jewellery chain Lovisa has now put signs up on the windows of the former Claire’s unit on Wall Street confirming it is “coming soon”.

The signs, spotted in Liverpool ONE this week, also said the firm is “recruiting now” ahead of its opening.
