Sodexo Live! has signed a three-year agreement to continue its “multi-million-pound” catering contract with The Wallace Collection in London.
The deal further extends the collaboration that now spans two decades.
As part of the renewed deal, Sodexo Live! will continue to manage the museum’s food and beverage operations, including its café and restaurant.
Catering for internal meetings, conferences arranged by the museum and evening events will remain under the remit of Sodexo Live!’s Heritage Portfolio brand.
Sodexo Live! UK and Ireland CEO Claire Morris said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with The Wallace Collection.
“Over two decades, we have worked closely with the museum, serving food and hospitality to enhance the visitor experience at this extraordinary London cultural institution.
“As we enter the next phase of our partnership, we look forward to building on that legacy by elevating the experience even further, creating exceptional food moments for the museum’s daily visitors and hospitality guests.”
Sodexo Live! stated that sustainability and social impact underpin the renewed contract.
Its WasteWatch initiative is being used on site to log and minimise food waste, in line with both organisations’ sustainability objectives.
Employment access is also a focus of the arrangement. At The Wallace Collection, Sodexo Live! works with charity Social Bite to provide work to homeless people.
The Wallace Collection director Dr Xavier Bray said: “As our partnership with Sodexo Live! enters its third decade, we remain focused on ensuring the food and hospitality evolve to reflect the culture of the museum and enrich the visitor experience.”
In the UK, Sodexo Live! provides catering and hospitality services across music and cultural venues, sporting events, conference locations and airport lounges.
In January, Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland selected Sodexo Live! as its catering and hospitality partner.
“Sodexo Live! renews Wallace Collection catering deal in London” was originally created and published by Verdict Food Service, a GlobalData owned brand.
