Emergency services were at the scene
An Edinburgh patient was rushed to hospital after an ‘incident’ on Friday morning. Around 8.30am on May 8, police and paramedics were spotted on Station Road, Corstorphine.
The exact nature of the incident has not been confirmed, but it’s understood to be a medical issue. The Scottish Ambulance Service dispatched three paramedic response units and an ambulance to the scene.
Two police cars were also in attendance. The patient was taken to hospital for treatment.
A SAS spokesperson said: “We received a call at 08:27 to attend an incident on Station Road, Edinburgh. We dispatched an ambulance and three paramedic response units (PRU) to the scene.
“We transported one patient to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.”
