Home and Away’s Mackenzie Booth receives joyful news next week – her partner Levi Fowler is ready to start trying for a baby with her.
The Summer Bay couple reach a breakthrough after days of uncertainty over whether they’re on the same page when it comes to their future.
Fans can look forward to the storyline starting later this week, as Levi notices Mackenzie behaving strangely following their dramatic trip to Queensland.
Mackenzie is reluctant to be honest with Levi over what’s troubling her, but she later confides in her friend Tane Parata about how she wants a baby.

“Confiding in Tane is the easy part for Mackenzie – they’ve always been close and he’s a great listener when she opens up,” our Summer Bay source tells us.
“After chatting to Tane, cagey Mac still avoids talking to Levi about what’s bothering her after their trip.
“That doesn’t last for long, though – she soon shocks Levi by suddenly announcing that she wants a baby.”
Although Levi agrees to give the idea some serious thought, he urges Mac to consider whether this is a knee-jerk reaction to her kidnap ordeal in Queensland.

Levi cautions Mac against making any hasty decisions, but his comments don’t go down well. Mac fears that Levi is simply stalling by suggesting that they should wait for a while.
Later in the week, it’s a conversation between Levi and his sister Eden that changes everything.
Eden opens up to Levi by explaining that she’s been thinking about marriage again following her recent reunion with Cash Newman. Ready to be engaged again, Eden is planning to propose to Cash sometime soon.
Levi is inspired by Eden’s strong and decisive attitude and realises that he needs to take the same approach in his relationship with Mac…

“Levi tells Mac that he’s changed his mind and he’s ready to start trying for a baby,” our insider adds.
“The couple have been divisive in Summer Bay in the past – their relationship did start as an affair, after all – but they’re ready to prove to everyone that they’re in this for the long-haul.”
Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday 19 May and Friday 23 May on Channel 5.
