The Princess of Wales is said to start her day with a bowl of oatmeal, and according to a nutrition expert from BarBend, this choice is excellent for weight management. They noted that the slow-release energy from oats “keep Kate filled up and with enough fuel to attend royal events, exercise and run after her three children”.

It’s also been suggested that Her Royal Highness maintains a rigorous fitness regime, with oats beneficial for this as they “can be great exercise fuel, as they release energy throughout the whole workout”. The Princess is also said to often have a smoothie with her breakfast, “helping her maintain a natural glow and healthy skin,” the specialists believe.

Having oats for breakfast has many health benefits including weight loss, experts at Healthline explained. Describing them as “a delicious breakfast food, also very filling”, they are considered “among the healthiest grains on earth”.

Oats are praised as “a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fibre and antioxidants” and are “very filling which may help you lose weight,” according to the health website. Kate is said to regularly perform cardio workouts, weight training, cycling, rowing, and yoga.

She also has a great passion for tennis, hitting the courts “almost daily”. The Princess of Wales holds the title of patron of the Lawn Tennis Association and showcased her skills by playing alongside tennis legend Roger Federer.

It’s understood that the Prince and Princess of Wales have their very own tennis court at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, providing the perfect spot for Kate to engage in regular games with their children. A Royal source revealed: “Once their school work has been dealt with satisfactorily, both George and Charlotte enjoy tennis lessons on their green court. Kate plays almost daily with the children and they like their practice sessions with her.”
