Several homes have been cordoned off by police after reports that a man was assaulted in broad daylight.
Leicestershire Police were called at 11.25am on Sunday, May 10 to an incident in Sweetbriar Road, Westcotes, Leicester.
Officers said the report related to the assault of a man in the street.
There is a large police presence in Sweetbriar Road, with officers and multiple vehicles present.

The force said a 51-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent. She remains in custody.
A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
A police cordon remains in place which covers several homes.
Police say an investigation is in its very early stages, and officers are carrying out inquiries locally to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
